Clint and Steve’s Path in Independent Pharmacy Amid Industry Pressures
Clint graduated from the University of Texas College of Pharmacy in 1990, and Steve from North Dakota State University in 1988. Both were drawn to independent pharmacy practice but faced the growing challenges of shrinking margins and insurance pressures. In 2005, they made a pivotal decision to invest in coaching and training to grow their nutritional supplement businesses. What started as $1,000-$7,000 in monthly supplement sales grew to $50,000+ monthly revenues—all while helping their patients achieve better health outcomes.
When they shared their story at industry seminars, other pharmacists began asking for guidance.
They realized there was a need for pharmacy-specific coaching from people who had actually built successful supplement businesses themselves.
